I lead technology for a fast-growing residential construction contractor: IT strategy, business systems, data, and responsible AI adoption. With CE Consulting NC I help small businesses and contractors get more out of IT, data, and AI. Off the clock I build things: home lab, self-hosted AI, Linux workstations, and the sites and apps that keep my side projects running.

Personal projects, on my own time and my own hardware.
Segmented network with IoT and cameras on their own VLAN, network-wide DNS filtering, WireGuard remote access, a Docker host, battery backup, and automatic cellular failover.
Retired MacBook Airs turned into headless model servers. An assistant runs on local models by default, escalates to cloud models for hard problems, and keeps working when the internet is down.
In progress
A small team of always-on AI agents on a cloud server: an admin agent plus personal assistants, each isolated in its own account with scoped access, approval-gated changes, and chat on Discord.
Ryzen 9 5900X and RTX 5080 workstation with a three-display layout and NVMe RAID, tuned for 4K gaming, VR, and local AI.
Arch Linux with Hyprland on the desktop and a MacBook: custom status bar, calendar and to-dos, RGB lighting synced to the theme. One dotfiles repo rebuilds either machine, and AI assistants on each coordinate through it.
Handheld emulation setup synced with the desktop, and PC VR streaming to a Steam Frame on Linux, including getting titles running through Proton that weren't built for it.
My hobby site: scheduled data refreshes that open pull requests, preview-then-production releases with rollback, and a feedback form that files GitHub issues.
Offline-friendly web app for managing feral cat colonies: profiles, family trees, health and TNR records, and a map. No server; data syncs through Dropbox.
